First Day!

Day one of the Lakewood 400 Antiques market was a success!  We had lots of visitors, but, no one mentioned to blog!

It started off slow and then people starting coming and it was busy.  However, I slept most of the time, because, again, no one was asking for me!

Saturday is usually a busy day and we hope lots of you will come to see me.

Have great evening and see everyone tomorrow!

Final Day of Preparation for the Lakewood Antique Market

Hello dog and antique lovers!

First, I have to mention what a great day it was yesterday when we stopped by Ace Hardware on Steve Tate in Marble Hill, Georgia, to get some needed supplies.  I was on my best behavior after I scarfed down the cat's food the night before, because the humans who work there thought I was cute and so good and they gave me 2 TREATS!!! Yeah.  Those folks at Ace Hardware are just super!  Look at this great picture Mommy took!

We have been busy preparing our inventory.  Mommy has been washing and ironing linens, Daddy has been working on furniture & leather books.  We have so many really neat new things it is hard to list them all.  I did promise to put up a few of our items and here they are:

Isn't this a lot of really NEAT things?  And there is so much more to see, so come and see us this weekend.  We even have human treats for little and big kids.  Lollipops, Swiss chocolates and specialized M & M's!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Two Days before our Antique Show begins

Good morning world!

We are heading out soon so I can greet all the fellow antique dealers who are coming in to set up and then sit in my basket and supervise the work.....well, I might take a nap.  Pictures will be taken today and tomorrow so I can add them here for everyone to see our new findings from recent travels.

Bandit

p.s. I do have to mention that I was a bad boy and snuck into the laundry room and ate the cat's food.  I would have accomplished that I not been caught red-handed cleaning the bowls and floors to a high shine!  OOPS!  Anyway, no treats for me today, I can wait till Friday when everyone comes to see me. I still get to go for a car ride though!

Day 1 - learning the ropes on earning my keep!

Hi! My name is Bandit.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a Parson’s Jack Russell Terrier and I help my mommy & daddy sell antiques.  Actually, I just sit around and look cute, try to cheer crying or fussy children and worm my way right into people’s, as well as, other dog’s hearts.

I am starting this blog because I have been told that I have not been fully earning my keep!  Arrgghh, as if looking this good isn't enough.  Well as we all know, economic times being as they are, I have to pitch in to help pay for my kibble, treats, toys and all my other goodies.

It is going to be my responsibility to bring people in to see our antiques and offer them incentives and rewards for ME! YEAH!

We are in the negotiating stages currently and more to come when all the details have been finalized later today.  So be sure to check back!

Have a FUN day!
